About the Roundtable
To support the development of ambitious and investible Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and to ensure these NDCs adequately emphasise the critical elements of a Just Transition, the UN Global Compact Network India (UN GCNI) brings together public and private-sector stakeholders to discuss how they can best engage to achieve our common climate goals.
This roundtable is part of our ongoing efforts to support NDC implementation in India — enabling public-private collaboration to accelerate a just transition and decarbonization for the cement sector. Building on the insights and momentum generated through past roundtables, this webinar aims to equip businesses with a practical understanding of just transition, grounded in real-world examples and perspectives from labour groups, and highlight actionable steps for implementation.
