Ms. Sabitha Natraj, General Manager, is responsible for Corporate Communications at the Corporate Headquarters of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., New Delhi. Catering to media and communications through digital and multi- channel engagements with an all-India influence, Ms. Natraj brings with her more than two-and-a-half decades of rich experience in the oil & gas industry.
A Gold Medallist in Executive MBA from the prestigious MDI (Management Development Institute), Gurugram, Ms. Sabitha Natraj holds a Masters in Journalism and Mass Communications and is an English Literature graduate.
Having joined IndianOil in 1993 at New Delhi, she has held various positions in Retail Sales and Corporate Communications departments. With a rich cross- functional experience in different assignments in IndianOil, she believes in “Give your 100% always; You win when others win!” Her core strengths include a collaborative, creative work-style that builds on the strengths of the team to arrive at ‘WOW’ factor results.
Ms. Sabitha Natraj has won several awards in her field, the most prestigious being ‘Woman Executive of the Year’ Award for Oil & Gas Industry from Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry (FIPI) in 2017 for her professionalism, dedication and determination in overcoming personal and professional challenges during her career and for adding exceptional value to the Company. She has won the ‘Woman Executive of the Decade’ Award at the Women Economic Forum-2018 from All Ladies League; the Hall of Fame and Outstanding Achiever in the field of Marketing Communications Award-2016 by Public Relations Council of India; and has received a distinctive citation and a special jury award for the excellent work rendered during Chennai Floods from the Association of Business Communicators of India (ABCI) in 2018. She was chosen as a panel speaker at the World Communications Forum held at Davos, Switzerland, in 2016.
Ms. Sabitha Natraj has delivered motivational speeches to students at Loyola College and DG Vaishnav College in Chennai, Gitam University, Hyderabad, and Jamal Mohamed College, Trichy.
A mother of a son and a daughter, she credits her success to the unstinted support, respect and encouragement from her husband and family.
