Mekhela Ahuja

In her first full-time position, Mekhela steps forward as a passionate newcomer, driven to enact positive change within the development sector. Previously, she gained valuable experience as a Copywriter Trainee at Dentsu, where she actively contributed to impactful brand campaigns for esteemed clients, specializing in creative and strategic copywriting. She also played a significant role at the Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights during the ‘Life after CCI’ project and served as a Coordinator in the Research and Development department of Youth for Mental Health, highlighting adept communication and coordination abilities.

Mekhela holds a Master of Arts in Gender Studies from Ambedkar University Delhi, a Master of Arts in Human Resource Management from Jamia Millia Islamia University, Delhi, and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English from the University of Delhi.

Currently, she is working as a Programme Officer at UN GCNI.
