Subha Kawatra

Subha Kawatra is a development professional with more than 4 years of experience in the domain of local governance, social welfare schemes, and rural development. In the past, she worked with Kudumbashree- National resource Organization as a State Project Coordinator in the states of Uttar Pradesh, Meghalaya, and Kerala and oversaw the implementation of a national-level project; Panchayati Raj institutions- Community based organizations (PRI-CBO) Convergence. The project aimed to increase the participation of members of the self-help-group in local governance to improve the service delivery of various government programs and schemes. After an enriching field experience, she worked with Prof. Puja Guha at Azim Premji University as a Research Associate on a project to map the rights and entitlements of three Indian states across themes of livelihood, social protection, health, and education.
