UN GCNI is committed to providing a robust platform to MSMEs and integrating the new strategic ambition of the UN Global Compact by harnessing the collective action of MSMEs and focusing on good governance (The G of ESG) through its approach on the ESG assessments. Towards this endeavour, we plan to develop capacities for the integrity readiness of MSMEs through our initiative on ethics and compliance for MSMEs, together with our participants and envisage a session on promoting responsible business practices in MSMEs.

Recognizing the role of Business associations, Chambers of commerce and Business management federations in supporting and promoting integrity and compliance initiatives through collective action in collectively advocate for reforms and encouraging more transparency and accountability in corporate governance and decision-making, among its MSME members, UN GCNI has partnered with IamSMEofIndia, one of the largest SME network and a globally recognized institution.
