Themed ‘ESG Walk The Talk’, the fifth consecutive edition of Social and Business Enterprise Responsible Awards & Summit, SABERA 2022, will be held on December 7th through a Gala event hosted at the UNESCO building, New Delhi. It is time for action beyond words and moving beyond compliances, making disclosures meaningful. While public commitments are a good first step, Bold actions are demanded by stakeholders who increasingly expect companies to publicly share their progress in achieving their sustainability commitments.

It is also a platform to build a positive narrative for the country and humanize the face of corporations beyond a mere profit incentive.

The awards will acknowledge those catalyzing the transformative journey putting India on the road to development and highlight best practices that can be replicated across the nation. The annual event has attracted nationwide participation from the country’s biggest corporates, most impactful non-profits, and inspiring individuals through a record number of entries. The evening will bear witness to stories of impact and development aligned with the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals and the Environment Social and Governance (ESG) Principles.

Legacy Business heir Raj Mariwala will share her views on the importance of each one holding themselves responsible for social justice and humanity through a fireside chat.

The occasion will also be graced by the guest of honor, Dr. Bibek Debroy, Chairperson of the Economic Advisory Council to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has been a supporter of  SABERA since its inception in 2018.

Exemplifying SABERA’s intent to recognize ‘GOOD’ by leaving no one behind, the event this year too will be anchored by a bright young girl, Palak Kumari, a beneficiary of the Voice of Slum school in Noida.
