UN GCNI delivered a Training of Teachers (ToT) Programme in Pune, Maharashtra

United Nations Global Compact Network India (UN GCNI) collaborated with the Education Department of the Government of Maharashtra, and ENPower in advocating and advancing Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 on ‘Quality Education’. The aim of the program was to inculcate an entrepreneurial mindset amongst the students of classes 6th – 9th standard and to unlock the potential of children. On 12th September 2023, UN GCNI representatives participated in the inaugural program in Pune to deliver a ‘Training of Trainers’ (ToT) to Teachers of grades 6th to 9th STD on SDGs. These teachers will further deliver the programme to 44 model Zilla Panchayat schools across Maharashtra. The program was funded under the CSR initiative of INOX AIR.

UN GCNI works closely with institutions and governments to accelerate the SDGs agenda for 2030. With each initiative, there is deep emphasis on advocating SDGs to promote inclusiveness and growth.
