United Nations Global Compact Asia & Oceania Regional Meeting 2024

The United Nations Global Compact Asia & Oceania Regional Meeting 2024, held from November 27–29 in the picturesque city of Kathmandu, Nepal, served as an inspiring platform for collaboration and innovation. Hosted by UN Global Compact Network Nepal, the event brought together over 15 Local Networks from across Asia, fostering meaningful exchanges and impactful initiatives.

The Network India team, led by Ratnesh Jha, Nancy D Cruz, and Naazneen Shekh, proudly represented UN Global Compact Network India, sharing key insights into India’s advancements in corporate sustainability and impactful collaborations. The meeting facilitated regional and sub-regional partnerships to amplify impact, fostered dialogues bridging businesses and policymakers to shape national sustainability agendas, and enabled the exchange of best practices to accelerate progress toward achieving the SDGs.
